public class TriangleMeshBuilder extends Object
The TriangleMeshBuilder class constructs instances of the TriangleMesh class and offers a fluent interface for creating and configuring it.

This class includes a static create method that accepts the same arguments as the original TriangleMesh constructor and returns an instance of the TriangleMeshBuilder.

You can use method chaining to call the builder methods for configuring the TriangleMesh. Finally, invoke the build method to generate an instance of the TriangleMesh class.

Note that intermediate builder methods are not evaluated until the build method is called, meaning they are evaluated lazily.

      public static TriangleMeshBuilder create()
      Returns an instance of the TriangleMeshBuilder.
      Returns:
      an instance of the TriangleMeshBuilder.

    • create

      public static TriangleMeshBuilder create(VertexFormat vertexFormat)
      Accepts the constructor arguments of TriangleMesh(VertexFormat) and returns an instance of TriangleMeshBuilder.
      Returns:
      an instance of the TriangleMeshBuilder.

    • build

      public TriangleMesh build()
      Builds and returns an instance of the TriangleMesh class.

      Intermediate builder methods are not evaluated until the build method is called; in other words, they are evaluated lazily.

      Returns:
      new instance of the TriangleMesh class

    • apply

      public TriangleMeshBuilder apply(Consumer<TriangleMesh> func)
      Applies a function to the TriangleMesh instance being constructed. Most operations on the instance can be performed using this method.
      Returns:
      builder instance

    • vertexFormat

      public TriangleMeshBuilder vertexFormat(VertexFormat value)
      A builder method that invokes the setVertexFormat method on the instance being constructed.
      Returns:
      builder instance

    • vertexFormatPropertyApply

      public TriangleMeshBuilder vertexFormatPropertyApply(Consumer<ObjectProperty<VertexFormat>> op)
      Applies a function to the vertexFormatProperty of the instance being constructed. This serves as a shorthand form of the apply method.

      Example: 

      // Use apply
.apply(obj -> obj.vertexFormatProperty().bind(anotherProperty))

// Use shorthand form
.vertexFormatPropertyApply(prop -> prop.bind(anotherProperty))

      builder instance
